Two video clips, with commentary, from Paradises Lost, an opera in two acts, based on the novella by Ursula K. Le Guin, from the story collection The Birthday of the World, commissioned by the University of Illinois, music by Stephen Andrew Taylor, libretto by Marcia Johnson.

The opera, composed by Stephen A. Taylor, premiered at the University of Illinois on April 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2012.
